The Maine Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Maine is happening all this week starting tomorrow through Friday from different legs all around the state leading up to Maine’s Summer Games in Orono this weekend. If you happen upon officers running the torch please drive extra careful.

Employment
Hermon Ambulance is licensed at the EMT level and permitted to the Paramedic level. We employ drivers, EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics. We teach classes to the community, such as CPR and First Aid, as well as CEH courses.

Emergency staffing: The emergency crew is staffed 24/7 with three 8 hour shifts. There is a 0700 to 1500 shift, a 1500 to 2300 shift, and a 2300 to 0700 shift. Our staff are paid at the rate of $12hr. The crew members are allowed to respond from anywhere within a 7 minute response time. Otherwise, the crew must stay at the station.

Event Staffing: We are often times contacted to stage at events such as Speedway Races, youth football games, and more. Event pay is an hourly wage from the time the crew leaves the station, until the time the crew returns.
