🍂 **Fall Clean Up Day is coming up!** 🍂

The Town of Hermon will be hosting a **ONE DAY ONLY** Fall Clean Up Day on **Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 8 AM–3 PM** at the Transfer Station on New Boston Road.

Please see the flyer for a list of **accepted and non-accepted materials.** Proof of Town of Hermon residency is required. **Residential only — no commercial businesses.**

📢 **Jackson Beach Boat Ramp Closure**

The Jackson Beach boat ramp will be closed for most of the day on **Friday, September 4** for pump testing.

There will be a heavy firetruck and emergency response presence in the area during testing.

📢 PSA : Increase Traffic & Activity Thursday, September 10

Residents may notice increased traffic and activity around Jackson Beach/Hermon Pond and Hermon Mountain Ski Area on Thursday as Maine IF&W, Maine DEP, and Tri-State Bird Rescue conduct a full-scale oiled wildlife exercise. Please avoid the area if possible.
The exercise will include a large number of participants on Hermon Pond in canoes and kayaks, along with motorized safety vessels.

🚗 Please expect additional vehicles and increased activity in these areas throughout the day and use caution when traveling through the area.
