A huge thank you to Underdog Contracting for clearing the brush on Mercer Avenue near our new station today! This greatly improved visibility for both our crews and oncoming traffic, making it much safer for everyone.

🚌 SCHOOL IS BACK — PLEASE DRIVE WITH CARE! 🎒

One of our favorite things about this time of year is seeing everyone’s first-day-back photos! We absolutely adore seeing those smiling faces, new backpacks, and first-day excitement. 💚 We hope every student, teacher, and family in our community has an incredible, safe, and successful school year!

As our kids head back to school, please take a few extra seconds to slow down and stay alert. Watch carefully at crosswalks, bus stops, intersections, neighborhoods, and anywhere a child may potentially cross the roadway.

And please remember: unless a roadway is PHYSICALLY DIVIDED, traffic in BOTH directions must stop for a school bus and remain stopped until the bus’s red flashing lights are off and the stop arm is retracted.

A few extra seconds of patience can protect a child and an entire family. ❤️

EMS WEEK 2026 🚑💚

“Improving Outcomes, Together.”At Elite EMS, those words are more than a mission statement — they represent the commitment shared between EMS providers, dispatchers, firefighters, law enforcement, nurses, physicians, hospitals, and every first responder who works together to care for our communities.

This week, we celebrate the incredible men and women of EMS — not only here at Elite EMS, but every provider, dispatcher, firefighter, police officer, nurse, physician, and first responder who answers the call day after day.

EMS is far more than lights, sirens, and emergency calls. It is compassion during someone’s worst moment. It is holding a frightened patient’s hand, calming a family member in chaos, celebrating the victories, and carrying the weight of the losses together. Every interaction leaves an impact on us — the thankful hugs, the tears, the laughter shared in difficult moments, and the lives forever connected to ours. Our patients change us just as much as we hope we help them.

To our crews at Elite EMS — thank you for the sacrifices you make that often go unseen. Thank you for the missed holidays, sleepless nights, long shifts, and the emotional strength it takes to continue showing up with professionalism, empathy, and heart. Your dedication to this community never goes unnoticed.

We are also incredibly grateful for the relationships we share with our fellow first responders and healthcare partners. From law enforcement officers standing beside us on difficult scenes, to firefighters working shoulder to shoulder during emergencies, to dispatchers who are the calm behind every call, to hospital staff continuing patient care after we leave — we are proud to stand alongside all of you. EMS is strongest when we work together as one team with one mission: serving our communities.

This profession is not easy. It demands resilience, sacrifice, and unwavering compassion. Yet despite every challenge, EMS providers across this country continue to answer every call with courage and commitment.

To every EMT, Paramedic, Dispatcher, Firefighter, Police Officer, Nurse, Physician, and healthcare professional — thank you for everything you do. Thank you for your dedication, your professionalism, and most importantly, your heart.
