Greetings! By way of introduction, my wife Sandi and I are lifelong residents of the area, moving to Hermantown in 1990. Our children, Janna, Ross and Marcie graduated from the best school around, Hermantown! That tradition continues with our two elementary grandchildren. I am currently the Board’s Vice-Chair and a full-time UMD faculty member teaching Finance after a career in Management at ALLETE and RSM US LLP (National CPA / Consulting Firm). My educational background includes degrees in Accounting and an MBA from UMD.
I strongly support the district’s critical initiatives such as getting our students back to pre-covid academic and wellbeing levels, the need to attract, support and retain our teachers and staff along with developing appropriate student curriculum options relevant to their future careers.
If elected, I will continue to focus on fair representation for Hermantown and Fredenberg residents as I have for the past four years.
