Hermantown’s annual community survey has been released at the following link. This yearly effort has helped inform park and trail enhancements, public safety investments, and a focus on improving the condition of our roadways over the past several years. The survey will be available until June 12.

Interested in the future of Keene Creek?
Attend the community open house in Hermantown this week, June 11, from 4:30–7:30 p.m. at Hermantown Middle School to learn more about ongoing efforts to restore, enhance, and protect the Keene Creek watershed and explore opportunities for involvement this summer.

The Public Works team is dealing with a water main issue on Thompson Road between Getchell & Lavaque Road. Crews are arriving on-site with the expectation that repair work will last till this afternoon. The area will have intermittent water interruptions due to the repair efforts. We appreciate your patience while this work is performed.

Thompson Road will be closed June 4 and 5 for a private utility connection. Residents will be able to reach their homes, but through traffic will not be possible.

Road construction season in has begun!

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be starting construction on Highway 2 between Midway Road and Highway 194 next week Monday, June 1.

Through traffic will not be able to travel on Highway 2 starting on June 1. Access will be maintained for businesses and residences via connecting side roads. The detour on Highway 194 to Midway Road expected to be in place through mid-September.
