SafeVoice Cochise
🌟 SafeVoice Cochise is LIVE! 🌟
We’re excited to share that SafeVoice Cochise, our new anonymous reporting system for student safety, is now available across Cochise County. This tool lets students, families, and community members report concernsβ€”like bullying, threats, or someone who may need helpβ€”quickly, safely, and 100% anonymously.
All reports go to trained crisis counselors at the Sandy Hook Promise Crisis Center, who are available 24/7 to review each tip and route it to the appropriate safety team.
If something doesn’t feel right, say something.!
Your voice can make a difference. πŸ’™

Student Transportation Update:

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to inform you of a recent change in state regulations issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) that affects student transportation across Arizona.

Effective April 8, 2026, new state rules governing 11–15 passenger vehicles (often referred to as β€œwhite fleet”) have been adopted. As a result, school districts, charter schools, and private schools are no longer permitted to use these vehicles for transporting students to and from school unless they meet new inspection and driver certification requirements.

At this time, this means that a small number of our regular bus routes that had been utilizing white fleet vehicles will be impacted. The number of affected routes is minimal; however, we recognize that any disruption is important to the families involved. Our district is actively working on solutions to minimize impacts and ensure students continue to get to and from school safely and reliably. We will communicate any route changes or updates as soon as they are finalized.

Please note that white fleet vehicles may still be used for certain activities, such as athletic events or field trips, when they meet the applicable requirements.

We understand that transportation is a critical service for our families, and we appreciate your patience as we navigate these changes.

Additionally, we are continuing to recruit qualified bus drivers to expand our transportation capacity. If you or someone you know may be interested, please contact our district office for more information.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our schools.

Sincerely,
Sherri Rosalik, Superintendent
