170 Industry-Based certifications were awarded to students at Hereford High School this year! These certifications provide students with real-world skills and these certifications can help them in their careers immediately after graduating! We are so proud of the students for their dedication to their programs and for all of the teachers helping them along the way!

At Hereford High School, we believe in preparing students for success beyond graduation. Through our Career & Technical Education programs, students gain valuable industry skills, hands-on experience, and credentials that open doors to college, careers, and the workforce.

This year, Hereford High School students earned an incredible 170 Industry-Based Certifications across a wide range of career fields including healthcare, welding, automotive technology, cosmetology, education, agriculture, criminal justice, culinary arts, and more.

These certifications represent dedication, hard work, and a commitment to excellence. We are proud of the accomplishments of our students and the teachers who helped guide them along the way.

Hereford ISD’s Migrant Education Program is taking 19 students to Austin to participate in the Close-Up Austin/Texas Academy Program . This Academy aims to build students’ sense of connection to the rights and responsibilities of citizens.

Over the course of three days, students will learn about Texas’s history, undertake a hands-on examination of the structure and functions of Texas state government, and visit a university campus.

Throughout the program, students will gain a greater understanding of effective citizenship in a democracy and if the impact that the state government has on their lives.

It’s been a little over a week since Kelton Whitson drove away in a brand-new Chevrolet Trax, and Kobe Goodloe and Josiah Suarez each became $1,000 richer!

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to Stevens 5 Star Car & Truck Center for their incredibly generous donation of the vehicle. We are also grateful to all of our donors who helped us RAISE attendance rates this year and make this program such a success.

The community is invited to come learn more about Duos AI and the large pod that has recently been constructed behind the Hereford ISD Administration Building.

Join representatives from Duos to learn how this project will support education, healthcare, and economic opportunities across our area. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the project directly from Duos representatives.

Free, healthy summer meals will be available for all children under 18 from June 1–30 at the Hereford High School Cafeteria!

🗓 Monday through Thursday

🥞 Breakfast: 7:30 AM – 8:15 AM
🍔 Lunch: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM

We are proud to help provide nutritious meals to our students and community throughout the summer months. No registration or ID required. We hope to see you there!

No cost for kids 18 and younger, and enrolled students up to 21 years old with disabilities.

With HPA and HJH consolidating into one campus for the upcoming school year, the staff has voted to return to its former name - Hereford Junior High! 🎉

HJH will proudly serve all 6th–8th grade students, with Mrs. Blair leading the way as principal. We’re excited to honor our tradition while building an even stronger future together!
