This talk will be about Actors, Artists, & Authors of Paradise, with a starring role by one of the most famous actors of the 19th century Joe Jefferson, renowned for bringing the role of Rip Van Winkle to life.

Ms. Capwell-Fox, Historian and Archives Coordinator of the National Canal Museum in Easton, PA will give her informative and entertaining slide presentation about preserving the historic pathway that carried coal and iron from Wilkes Barre to Philadelphia. Today the D&L Trail connects people to nature, culture, communities, recreation, and our industrial heritage. A fascinating program! Refreshments served!

John Layton will talk about the "Spragueville High Bridge" and the culverts that replaced it and show some very cool images.
