Following a lengthy investigation, Henryetta Police working with the District 25 Drug Task Force, Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Immigration, the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office, ATF, and other agencies served a search warrant early this morning on a property on Warren Road.

Inside the residence and surrounding outbuildings, investigators discovered what they describe as a sophisticated, multi-stage ma*****na growing operation allegedly connected to Cuban nationals. Close to 1,000 plants at various growth levels were seized.

Agents also recovered multiple fi****ms and a large-scale odor-filtration system believed to be designed to conceal the operation.

Two males and one female were taken into custody at the scene.

According to Chief Steve Norman, the original tip came from a neighbor who noticed unusual activity and reported it. Law enforcement noted this case is a strong reminder that neighbors paying attention and speaking up when something doesn’t look right plays a major role in keeping local communities safe.

🎃👮‍♂️ Spooky Alert! Swing by the Henryetta Police Department this Halloween from 3–5 PM for a frightfully fun treat — we’re serving up hotdogs, candy, and drinks (no tricks, we promise… unless you count dad jokes from the officers 😜). Big thanks to Rustlers BBQ, Walmart, and Coca-Cola for keeping our ghouls fueled and our ghosts hydrated! 👻🌭🍬🥤

Henryetta Street Department Supervisor Dillon Padgett (seen here) has 3 sanding trucks dedicated to this snow event. Padgett said they pretreated many bridges and are now prepared to sand. Padgett said his crew closed 3rd and 5th street so that they can focus on 9th. The crews will be going 24/7 through this event.
The PD anticipates travel will be treacherous by evening and we encourage citizens to only travel if it’s essential.

*****We Need Your Help!*****

Sometime after 3 this morning the Okmulgee Police Department was dispatched to an alarm activation at an ATM located next to Neal's Furniture at State Highway Loop 56 and Highway 75. The suspects used a stolen Cadillac SUV and a chain to force open the ATM and remove the cash box, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects fled the area on an ATV which was tracked by officers to an area about a mile north of the scene where it was believed to be loaded into a second vehicle and fled. The attached photo was obtained from ATM surveillance in very close proximity in time to the theft. Officers are asking for the public's help identifying this person whom they want to speak with. If you have any information please call 918-756-3511 or you can send an email to [email protected]. As always, we appreciate any help provided.
