Today’s Update from our new city manager!
Ron Casey has been busy working on his new role transition!
Immediate needs and actions being worked on:

1. First & foremost we have to have WATER to the hill & a water storage tank to limit water loss!

2. We have been working on funding for widening & paving Main Street from the Y on West Main to Dewey Bartlett for safer access to the hospital.

3. We have a lot of amazing employees with a lot of to do list & with limited staffing it may seem like we are behind on water leaks but we have a list of severity yet our water loss is still minimal across the city

4. I have an open door policy I am willing to talk to anyone & answer any or all questions you all may have!

The crews have been working 24/7 since Thursday morning at 8am to get the water tie in completed. It obviously did not go as planned but they never stopped working to solve the issue & water is being pumped up the hill now so you all should have water soon!!
