‼️W. Main Street Update‼️

A striping company has us on their schedule, we are 3-4 weeks out on striping. The concrete island was painted with yellow highway paint with glass beads to make it more visible at night. A chevron arrow was also placed at the end indicating the curve in the roadway.
A special thank you to dist. 3 crews for trimming the overhang back at 17th street, utilizing the saw attachment on their skid steer it was quickly cut and removed from the roadway.

Tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. 3rd street between High and Smith St. will be closed to THRU traffic. The closure is to allow PSO to safely work on the installation of new lighting along this roadway. Signs and personnel will be present during this closure, residents are encouraged to avoid the area.

The City of Henryetta would like to thank the Oklahoma department of Wildlife Conservation for their donation of fish habitat structures. These were generously donated to improve fishing around the dock at Nichols Park.
We would also like to remind residents that swimming around and jumping/diving around the dock is prohibited and a sign has been posted for the last two years.

Good Morning Henryetta! Please join us welcoming Officer Patchin to Henryetta Police Department!
Officer Patchin began his law enforcement career with Okmulgee Police Department on February 7 2024, before joining the Henryetta Police Department on May 20, 2026. He obtained his Oklahoma Full-time Peace Officer Certification on October 23,2024, graduating from the CLEET Acadamy with an impressive certification exam score of 96%.
Since beginning his law enforcement career, Officer Patchin has already accumulated over 660 hours of continuing education and specialized training. His training includes Patrol Rifle, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Traffic stops, and High-Risk Traffic Stops, Collision Investigation, Low Light Tactics, Stop Stick Training, Trauma-Informed Interviewing, Missing Persons Investigations, and Patrol Handgun Refresher courses.
Officer Patchin has also completed all required Mental Health, Missing Persons, and Sexual Assault Investigations training standards through CLEET and remains committed to continuing his professional development and service to the community.
We are excited to have Officer Patchin join our team and look forward to the dedication and work ethic he brings to the citizens of Henryetta.

The Water Maintenance Crew is currently working a main line repair at the intersection of 4th and Barclay. If you live near this area you may experience low water pressure. As usual, if you experience cloudy of discolored water please report it to the Henryetta Water office so crews can flush in your neighborhood.

W. Main Street will be closed to thru traffic from Crystal Springs to the “Y” at the hospital. This will remain through the remainder of the day. Residents are urged to avoid the area as paving crews near completion of this project.
