Happy last day of school Team Tuckahoe!

It's been an incredible year full of so many memories — Spring Fling, Field Day, Book Fair, Ice Cream Social, and so much more. Thank you to every family, teacher, volunteer and student who made this year so special.

Here's a fun way to get involved next year! 🏀

We're looking for a volunteer to chair the Fifth Grade Basketball Tournament; a beloved TES tradition taking place in March 2027. It's a schoolwide event so you don't need to have a 5th grader to get involved!

The chair helps coordinate planning, volunteers, and event logistics. If you love bringing the community together and want to make a meaningful impact at TES, we'd love to hear from you!

🥤 The Pop Tab Competition results are in and WOW — TES students brought in 85 lbs of tabs in just two weeks! Corazon takes the crown with 25 lbs but every house showed up big. Ronald McDonald House is so grateful!

🎓 Fifth Grade Ceremonies are TODAY — congratulations to our incredible 5th graders. What a journey!

📚 Still need a yearbook? A limited number are available in the office for $25 — checks payable to Tuckahoe PTA while supplies last.

🥤 Pop Tab standings are IN and it is tight! Corazon is currently in 1st but Tharros, Haathee, Mahalo and Kambi are right behind them. Bring in your remaining tabs by Friday May 22 to win house points and bragging rights! 👀

📚 Yearbooks distribute to students on May 26! A limited number are still available to purchase in the office for $25 — checks payable to Tuckahoe PTA while supplies last.

👕 Spirit Wear store closes THIS FRIDAY May 22.

The TES Ice Cream Social is TONIGHT! 🍦 Here's everything happening at Tuckahoe this evening:

🎒 Kinder Sneak Peek — 5:30pm. Rising kindergarteners, come explore the school and meet the staff!

📚 Book Fair open during the evening — last chance to shop in person!

🍦 Ice Cream Social — 6 to 7:30pm, open to ALL TES students and families. Mr. Softee ice cream truck will be there, everyone gets a ticket and a hand stamp. Dairy free options available!

🍦 TOMORROW is the Ice Cream Social and Kinder Sneak Peek! Mr. Softee's ice cream truck will be there, the Book Fair will be open, and rising kindergarteners are welcome to explore the school starting at 5:30pm. Ice Cream Social runs 6-7:30pm. Everyone welcome!

🥤 Pop Tab Competition runs through May 22 — bring those tabs to your house bin in the Rotunda! All tabs benefit Ronald McDonald House.

Mark your calendars — the TES Ice Cream Social is THIS Thursday, May 14! Here's everything happening that evening:

🎒 Kinder Sneak Peek starts at 5:30pm — if you have a rising kindergartener this is a wonderful opportunity to explore the school and meet the staff!

🍦 Ice Cream Social runs 6-7:30pm and is open to all TES students and families. New this year — Mr. Softee's ice cream truck will be serving up treats! Everyone gets a ticket and a hand stamp. Dairy free options available too.

📚 The Book Fair will also be open during the Ice Cream Social — so come shop, scoop, and celebrate together!

We are so proud of our Tuckahoe Girls on the Run team! ✨

At the GOTR 5K ( ) on May 3rd at Bryan Park, our girls crossed the finish line with energy and teamwork — and came home with the Sparkle & Style Award for best dressed team! On top of that, they raised $557 for the SPCA through their Community Impact Project.

These girls showed up, ran hard, and gave back. That's Team Tuckahoe! 💚
