NOVA of Virginia Aquatics NOVA is a non-profit, full-service swim club that meets the needs of every level of swimmer, from le There are also 2 3 lane warm up pools.

NOVA owns and operates two aquatic centers the Gayton location features two state-of-the-art indoor 25 meter by 25 yard pools and locker and shower facilities. In September 2021 NOVA opened another aquatic center just minutes away at Regency Mall. The new aquatic center is located at 100 NOVA way also in Henrico. It features an 8 lane 50 meter pool with 20 25 yard lanes across. The Virginia Swim S

hop, operated by NOVA is also located in both Aquatic Centers, featuring a comprehensive collection of swimwear and aquatic fitness accessories. The club offers programming for all ages. Our SWIMNOVA Lessons program teaches over 5,000 lessons each year. Our competitive youth swim team has 800+ swimmers. We offer fitness swimming and a competitive Masters team for adults. Our outreach programs teach kids to swim who might not otherwise have the chance to learn. NOVA has achieved four NCSA Junior National Swimming Championships and won the Virginia Swimming Short Course Age Group Championship for 21 consecutive years and the Virginia Swimming Senior Long Course Championship for 15 consecutive years. We are the #1 team in Virginia Swimming and a perennial Top 5 club nationwide. NOVA strives to provide individualized training, promote excellence in aquatics, instilling in today’s youth the physical, mental, and social responsibility which will help them become tomorrow’s leaders.

Congratulations NOVA! The American Coaches Swimming Association has recognized NOVA as one of the 2026 Top 50 Age Group Teams in the country. NOVA finished 4th in the country at the end of the short course season and is currently in 6th place for the long course season. The honor is based on the top 20 individual USA Swimming national rankings for swimmers ages 10-14 and reflects the outstanding work being done by our athletes, coaches, and leadership team.
