Great news! Our starting salaries for our Deputy I and II positions are increasing effective July 1!

If you’re dedicated to duty and committed to excellence then consider joining the Henrico County Sheriff’s Office.

Effective July 1, 2026, Deputy I (Jailors) will have a starting salary of $57,305 ($27.55/hr) and Deputy II will start at $60,055 ($28.87).

On Saturday, May 16 from 8 to 11 a.m., we’ll be at Innsbrook North Shore Commons for the ASCV 5k and Family Fun Day. Then on Sunday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., we’ll be at Green Top Sporting Goods for the VALE Foundation - Virginia Law Enforcement Foundation Appreciation Day and Career Fair! These are great opportunities to learn about our agency’s role within the county and how to apply to become a Henrico County Sheriff’s Deputy!
