Would you vote for a congressperson you’ve never met who unabashedly lies to the people? I wouldn’t, and Tiki Bob won’t either.

Wittman’s not on the phone. He’s not holding in-person town halls. He’s not voting in our best interests.

Bottom line: title aside, Rob Wittman is not representing the people. We cannot afford him.

A data center developer tried to build a data center within 5 miles of my house. That 5 miles crosses county lines. That matters for representation, but not for the effects of the data center itself.

Data centers impact the environment, our water, and public health, and developers are trying to put them everywhere. We can do something about this at the federal level if we have the political will to do it. I know I do. A nearly 100 year old law capped the US House to 435. Back then, it was 1 representative per 30,000 people. The population today is nearly 3x more than in 1929 when that old law passed. Now, this district is 1 representative for over 814,000 (it’s nearly 824,000). And that representative, ​⁠Rob Wittman, doesn’t show up as it is. Where’s Wittman? We don’t know, but we know one thing’s for sure: he ain’t on the phone.

We can’t afford Rob Wittman.

We the People, not the DCCC, have the power to decide this election. Their thumb on the scale of one candidate in a seven-candidate primary (and it was even more when they chose) isn’t democratic; it’s a gamble.
