1,200 pounds of clothing. 429 cubic feet. One incredible group of volunteers!

A huge thank you to Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School for spending the day serving at Hendersonville Samaritan Center!

These students sorted approximately 1,200 pounds of clothing from a pile measuring 13 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 5½ feet tall. That's nearly 16 cubic yards of clothing!

They also organized our donation area and decluttered our conference room, making room for more community and partner meetings.

They were a joy to have with us. Their hard work and willingness to serve our neighbors made a tremendous difference.

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus and helping us serve our community with compassion and dignity. We are so grateful for you! ❤️

🚒⛳ Thanking Our Hendersonville Firefighters!

Today, HSA was proud to sponsor a hole at the Hendersonville Firefighters Golf Tournament! We’re grateful for the men and women who serve and protect our community year-round.

But our firefighters do more than protect Hendersonville—they’re also partners! Time and again, they’ve rolled up their sleeves to help us unload Second Harvest food deliveries, helping get food into the hands of families who need it most.

That’s what being a community is all about: showing up, lending a hand, and caring for our neighbors. We’re thankful for their service, friendship, and continued support of HSA!

Thank you, Hendersonville firefighters, for being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community!

❤️ We were honored to spend time with First Presbyterian Church Hendersonville this morning and share the mission of Hendersonville Samaritan Association!

Throughout the month of October, First Presbyterian is collecting donations through a special food drive to support our ministry.

We had the opportunity to share the story of the Good Samaritan and how help often comes from unexpected places.

When we work together, we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to our neighbors in need. We are grateful for First Presbyterian’s generosity, partnership, and heart for our community!

Thank you for helping us share help, hope, and the love of Christ! 🙏

We were honored to be part of First Baptist Church Hendersonville Night of Missions! ❤️

As one of our valued church partners, First Baptist continues to help us serve our neighbors with compassion and dignity. It was a joy to share how Hendersonville Samaritan Association is meeting practical needs in our community and invite others to come alongside us in this work.
We can do more together than we can alone!

Thank you, First Baptist, for your partnership and heart for missions. Together, we’re putting the love of Christ into action, one neighbor at a time. 🙏
