Today we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve of the Allied forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy 82 years ago.

Their actions on D-Day helped change the course of history and secured freedoms that continue to enjoy today. We honor the service members who faced unimaginable challenges, those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the veterans who carried the legacy of that day forward.

As we reflect on their bravery, we remain grateful for their service and commitment to a cause greater than themselves. We will never forget.

🍩🚔 National Donut Day was a sweet success!

A big thank you to the Hendersonville Dunkin' on Spartanburg Highway for welcoming us back for the third year in a row. Our officers had a great time taking over the drive-thru, handing out free donuts, sharing a few laughs, and connecting with the community we proudly serve.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make the day so memorable, and thank you to Dunkin' for once again partnering with us to spread a little joy throughout the community.

🍩 We came to hand out donuts... but we're not saying a few officers didn't conduct some "quality control" along the way. As for the Chief, he denies having any donuts… but the powdered sugar evidence tells a slightly different story. 😄

🏃‍♂️🔥 Last Thursday, four members of the Hendersonville Police Department proudly represented our community in Raleigh as part of the final leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics NC.

Detective Lance Easton and Communications & Technology Manager Amber Kleppe joined nearly 500 runners from law enforcement agencies and partner organizations across the state, carrying the Flame of Hope and helping raise awareness and support for Special Olympics athletes. Escorting the run via motorcade were Lieutenant Robert Cantwell and Detective Eric LaRowe.

We are proud of Lance, Amber, Robert, and Eric for their commitment to serving others both on and off duty and for supporting an organization that celebrates determination, inclusion, and achievement.

Please join us in thanking them for representing Hendersonville and helping carry the torch for a great cause. 💙🔥
