Henderson County Hunger Coalition A small group of community service volunteers representing 9 churches and the synagogue, who serve as the executive board for the coalition

Henderson County Hunger Coalition (HCHC) sponsors an annual Hunger Walk to raise funds which are distributed to local relief agencies for purchasing food to distribute to needy individuals. Every dollar raised is spent for food. Agencies include: The Storehouse; Fishes and Loaves Food Pantry; Interfaith Assistance Ministries; Hendersonville Rescue Mission, Council on Aging; Western Carolina Commun

ity Action; Mainstay; Blue Ridge Health Center; Salvation Army and Calvary Episcopal Food Pantry. In addition to the annual Hunger Walk, funds can be donated by individuals and organizations at any time.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: the Hunger Walk has been postponed until next Saturday, October 5.

The Henderson County Hunger Walk is on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at a new location beginning at Lennox Station, located at 441 S Whitted St, Hendersonville, NC 28739. Join the St. James team by signing up at St. James on the three Sundays in September preceding the Walk OR online at hendersoncountyhungecoalition.org. If you can’t walk you can still sponsor a walker by donating online, at St. James, or by mailing your donation to Henderson County Hunger Coalition at PO BOX 6151 Hendersonville NC 28793.
