Hi, I’m Wes Wynne, and I’m running for re-election to represent White House on the Sumner County Commission, District 15.

I was raised in Shackle Island and have called White House home for 22 years. It’s where my wife and I are raising our family, and the only hometown our kids have ever known.

Before serving on the Commission, I spent years in roles focused on oversight and service - volunteering through my local church, supporting a homeless shelter, and serving on my neighborhood board. Professionally, I use a data-driven approach to help guide long-term strategy and something I bring to county government every day.

I’m grateful to serve, and I’m committed to continuing to listen, collaborate, and deliver results for District 15.

Today, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer, it’s a time to pause, reflect, and remember the extraordinary sacrifice made by those who never made it home.

Their courage secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and their legacy lives on through the families, communities, and country they protected.

May we never forget the cost of freedom, and may we always strive to live in a way worthy of their sacrifice.
