We’re excited to officially unveil the 2026 official Tomato Art Fest artwork created by Nashville artist and educator Janet Fox Ridgill 🍅🎨

Inspired by creativity, mid-century design and eclectic European treasures, Janet’s style perfectly captures the spirit of this year’s festival. We think this artwork is kind of a big dill.

After a wonderful graduation weekend, we are looking forward to wrapping up the school year for the rest of our students. We've got 9th-11th grade exams on Monday and Tuesday starting at 8:00. There are also tryouts for many of our athletic teams happening this week so be sure to check those out.

It’s almost time for our graduates to walk the stage! We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and can’t wait to see what they do in their next chapters!

It's our favorite week of the whole year - Graduation Week!! We spent today practicing for tomorrow and celebrating our seniors one last time as they said their goodbyes at BHS and many of our feeder schools.

Tomorrow is going to be a GREAT day and we can't wait for the Class of 2026 to be together one more time before they officially become BHS Alumni. Doors will open for guests with tickets at 5:00pm and the ceremony can be streamed live at https://longhollow.com/live-event-stream for those viewing from other places.

The school year is coming to an end but there is still a lot going on at BHS. Beech Soccer and Beech Buccaneers Baseball are still moving forward in their post-season playoffs so be sure to stay tuned for updates on games that will happen this week and come out to cheer these student athletes on!!

From an incredible prom weekend to district championship wins for both Baseball and Soccer as they continue their postseasons, there has been so much to celebrate.

We also enjoyed a fun Teacher Appreciation Week filled with treats, giveaways, and “Dress Like a Student” day, while students continued learning through field trips and real-world experiences. Huge congratulations to our BHS FFA program for having a Regional Officer elected, and to one of our students who interviewed and was offered a job that begins right after graduation!

So proud of our students, staff, and community. It's great to be a Buccaneer!

As a part of teacher appreciation week, RaceTrac donated a $50 gas card to be given away at BHS. Ms. Shaff was drawn as the winner of the prize at BHS.

We asked her students "Why do you think Ms. Shaff deserves to win this prize?" and they each wrote her a letter, telling her why they appreciate her. As you can see, she's definitely loved by her students! We are thankful for Ms. Shaff and all of our teachers who go above and beyond every day for their students!

Today was a fun day! Teachers were encouraged to “Dress Like a Student” and our fabulous student council members had some fun rating their fits!
