Pennyrile Electric Coop Safety Week. .

I would like to extend a sincere thank you to Pennyrile Electric and Safety Director, Ali Cotton, for inviting me to be a guest speaker at several of their locations during Safety Week. I truly appreciate the opportunity to speak with your team about the importance of safety and the dangers of distracted driving.

Driving a commercial vehicle requires constant attention and awareness. One moment of distraction can have serious consequences, which is why it is so important to keep distractions at bay and remain focused on the road and the task at hand.

Thank you again, Pennyrile Electric for keeping the lights on.. And Ali, for your hospitality and the importance of safety with your team. I enjoyed meeting everyone and appreciate your commitment to keeping safety a top priority!

Stay safe out there!!

πŸ† Congratulations to David Napier!

Please join me in congratulating David Napier, a Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Inspector with the Kentucky State Police, on receiving the Governors Occupant Protection, 2026 Seat Belt Award for issuing the highest number of seat belt citations within the Kentucky State Police West Region.

David has dedicated more than 20 years of service to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and this award is a great reflection of his commitment to public safety and keeping Kentucky's roads safer.

Seat belts save lives, and David's dedication to enforcing Kentucky's seat belt laws helps remind all of us of a simple but important message:

Buckle up every trip, every time.

Congratulations, David, on this well deserved recognition and thank you for more than two decades of service to the citizens of Kentucky! πŸ‘
