🎉 SCHOOLS IN FOR SUMMER!?! 🎉

Huge congratulations to all the students, parents, teachers, staff, bus drivers, and crossing guards who survived another year of alarms, homework, drop-off lines, and missing Chromebooks. 😅👏

And now that school’s out… you don’t have to worry about those pesky school zones anymore!

…Just kidding. 😏

Summer programs start Wednesday and run through July 10th, with some even continuing into August.

Good news though — we sent all the schedules to the cities and county, so the FLASHERS will let you know when school zones are active. 🚸⚡

It’s almost like something OTHER than our posts is finally telling people to slow down. 😂

Have a safe summer, keep an eye out for active school zones, and remember:

If the lights are flashing… the speed limit isn’t just a suggestion. 😎🚔 But it could be an Invitation!

The CCSDPD is always so proud of the continued collaboration between CCSDPD, LVMPD, HPD, NLVPD, and Clark County Juvenile Justice as we head into the end of the 2025–2026 school year. This partnership helps strengthen trust, safety, and support for students and families—day after day, campus after campus.

CCSD Regional Superintendents were given the chance to thank local law enforcement for their dedication. The tour of the LVMPD Fusion Center helped leaders see how information and coordination protect communities. The end-of-year Filed Operations Center showcases how our teams work together in real time to keep students safe.

🚨🪿 GOOSE ON THE LOOSE? 🪿🚨

Today, officers from CCSDPD teamed up with a Nevada State Trooper — and several helpful members of the motoring public — to safely relocate a goose family of four attempting unauthorized lane crossings during rush hour. 🚓🛵

Initially, the geese were not very compliant. But the situation changed quickly when the LT produced a bag of gluten-free crackers and apparently began speaking fluent Canadian Goose. 🪿

After a supervised waddling es**rt, the family safely reached a new location with only minor honking from everyone involved.

Possible charges include:
• Disorderly waddling
• Impeding traffic
• Excessive use of horn

Remember Las Vegas…
If you’ve got a Goose on the Loose…
📞 JUST CALL… THE GEESE POLICE. 🚨🪿
