🌟EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: SHIRLEY PERSON🌟

Franklin-Vance-Warren Opportunity, Inc. proudly recognizes Shirley Person, Data Program Manager for our Head Start program!

Shirley has dedicated more than 22 years to the agency. Her journey began as an intern before she earned a full-time position. Throughout her career, she has served as a Weatherization Intake Specialist, Family Service Worker, Bus Driver, and now Data Program Manager.

In her current role, Shirley oversees the daily entry of applicant and in-kind volunteer information in the ChildPlus data system. She also collects and analyzes data and generates essential program reports.

What Shirley values most is building relationships with families and helping their children begin the journey toward a strong early education.

Shirley holds an Associate Degree in Office Administration and has served as a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician for more than 16 years, helping families properly install car seats and keep children safe.

Outside of work, Shirley enjoys spending time with her family, decorating for parties, fishing, and shopping.
