🎨✨ Looking back at an incredible end-of-year celebration! ✨🎨

A few weeks ago, as the school year wrapped up, our K-2 students completely transformed the hallways into a vibrant art gallery for their grand art finale! Our youngest Prides worked so hard on these masterpieces, and it was unforgettable seeing their faces light up with pride as they showed off their creativity to families during conferences.

What an unforgettable night at the Pride of 2026 Prom! 💃🕺 Held at the beautiful Henderson Country Club on May 16th, 2026, the energy was unmatched, and everyone absolutely understood the assignment for our "Step into the Spotlight" theme! 🌟

At Henderson Collegiate, we firmly believe that true education is 51% character and 49% academics. It is not just about what our students know, but who they are becoming and how they use their skills to uplift the community. Today, we are incredibly proud to spotlight McKenzie Speller (Pride of '27), who embodies this mission perfectly! 🌟

Recognizing a desire to grow and serve, McKenzie took incredible initiative to independently found a brand-new club at the High School: the Becoming Ambitious Society. With minimal adult guidance, she built this organization from the ground up to help her peers advance their leadership skills, discover meaningful service opportunities, and learn the power of networking.

Recently, McKenzie and the Becoming Ambitious Society put those skills into action by organizing a highly successful Breast Cancer Awareness Car Wash. Check out the photos to see our students in action! Here is what true character and leadership look like:

🤝 Community Networking: McKenzie and her team successfully secured partnerships with Advance Auto Parts, Lowe’s, and the City of Henderson to make this event happen.

💖 Purpose-Driven Service: They dedicated their time and energy to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support services.

🦁 Teamwork: Over 30 student volunteers showed up to work hard, support a great cause, and represent the HC Pride.

We are so incredibly proud of McKenzie's ambition and the hard work of every student who volunteered. This is what it means to lead with character!

At Henderson Collegiate, we often say that a true education is 51% character and 49% academics. While we always celebrate academic milestones, we are equally passionate about celebrating the incredible people our students are becoming.

Recently, our 9th Grade team gathered to celebrate the Pride of 2029 during their Quarter 4 Awards ceremony! 🎓🦁

During this special event, students were recognized not just for their grades, but for truly embodying our core HC PRIDE values inside and outside the classroom: Pride, Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, and Enthusiasm

Beyond these core values, several outstanding scholars were also honored for their deep commitment to service and community. These students went above and beyond, selflessly giving of their time, talents, and treasures to make a positive impact on the world around them. 🤝💛

To the Pride of 2029: We see your hard work, your kindness, and your leadership. You are living proof that when you lead with character, success naturally follows. Please join us in giving a massive round of applause to our 9th graders for a phenomenal end to the quarter and 2025-2026 year!

Our mission at Henderson Collegiate takes an entire village, and the work starts the moment our students step out of their homes. Today, we want to give a massive shoutout to the first smiling face many of our students see each morning!

Chosen by his peers, please join us in congratulating Mr. Edward Harrington, our 2025-2026 Henderson Collegiate Bus Driver of the Year! 🏆👏

Mr. Harrington goes above and beyond to ensure our students travel safely to and from school every single day. The care, patience, and reliability he brings to his route sets a positive tone, getting our students ready for success before they even step foot into a classroom. We truly couldn't do this important work without incredible, dedicated team members like him.

The journey doesn't end at high school graduation! Our mission at Henderson Collegiate is to support our students not just get TO college, but to ensure they make it all the way THROUGH it. Today, we are absolutely beaming with pride as we spotlight another incredible alumna who has done just that.

Destinae recently crossed the finish line at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, officially becoming a ! She completed her studies with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Neuroscience. 🧠📘

Destinae, your resilience, dedication, and hard work to achieve this milestone is a powerful inspiration to your entire HC family. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see where your path leads next!

🎨 Celebrating Student Creativity! 🎉

A massive congratulations to Yessalin from the Pride of 2030! Her incredible artwork was unanimously voted as the winner of 8th Grade Art CADA design competition.

To commemorate a fantastic year of CADA well spent, Art Teacher Miss Thompson printed Yessalin's vibrant, colorful design on t-shirts as a special keepsake for all the 8th-grade art students. As you can see from the photos, the winning design features a beautiful, creative take on the year "2030" and looks absolutely amazing on both the tees and tote bags! 👕👜

We are so proud of Yessalin’s talent and can't wait to see the students showing off their new gear.

We are so incredibly moved to share the official graduation photo album for the Henderson Collegiate Pride of 2026. Watching this family of students grow, overcome challenges, and fiercely support one another has been the privilege of a lifetime for our teachers and staff.

When we say our mission is to empower students to achieve at the highest academic and character levels to ensure their choices of colleges and careers, this group is the living proof. You didn’t just meet those expectations; you leaned in with your whole hearts, showed incredible resilience, and earned those college acceptances. We couldn't be prouder of the young adults you've become as you prepare for campus life.
