Basic Academy MCJROTC

Basic Academy MCJROTC Drill is an integral part of the Marine Corps Junior ROTC program. Drill teaches good discipline, enhances concentration and builds esprit de corps in a unit.

The purpose of the Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps program is to instill a value of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment. School webpage-https://www.basicacademy.org

Our organization currently has 2 areas of sportsmanship: Drill and Marksmanship. In addition to being a part of the MCJROTC cadet curriculum, a drill team and drill competition is a very worthwhile cadet activity

Marksmanship is an exciting and rewarding sport, yet it demands the ultimate in discipline and concentration. A cadet does not have to be big or strong or fast to be an outstanding marksman. Some Marine Corps JROTC units are not able to have marksmanship as a part of their curriculum, but we do!
