Regional Reentry Intercept Community Collaborative (RRICC)
Has been created to help address the barriers in Mental Health/Substance Use services for those individuals who often times have difficulty accessing care of continuing with treatment once out in the community. It was also created to help Detention Center staff with facilitating additional training and information to help staff interactions and provide a more informative environment within the Jail structure. This collaborative is specific to the needs of the Jail and the needs of the offender population coming back into their community and providing them with the information to address their specific needs. It also provides them with an opportunity to reach out for assistance and information regarding Substance Abuse and Recovery programs in their community. Reentry bags provided where filled with community services regarding Mental Health & Substance Use Recovery Centers, Medical Providers,Kinect Resources for Insurance and much more.
