While it is still 105 degrees….we are preparing for Halloween Trunk or Treats and Costume Party 🎃

Join the American Legion Family this Halloween for some Spooktacular events. 👻

There will be a Trunk or Treat open to the community on Friday, October 23rd from 5 pm to 8 pm at Post 40.

Then we will be taking part in the Palm Mortuary Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24th from 5 pm to 7:30 pm.

If you would like to have a decorate car at either of these events as the American Legion Family group please email

We will also post when we will be excepting Candy donations.

Keep following for more details on our Post Halloween Costume party on Saturday, October 31st 7 pm to 10 pm.

My wife and I visiting Hardin Post 113 in Elizabethtown, KY. I was Commander here 2018-19. Met up with some old friends here. They recently added gaming in the bar area, bingo in hall was going strong.
We are looking to add live music at Post 40, so keep your eyes open for dates.
