Factory Outlet Drive between FM 1488 and Business 290 will be closed until approximately 12:00 PM today for roadway re-striping operations.

Please use alternate routes and expect delays in the area. Motorists are urged to drive with caution and follow all posted traffic control devices and worker instructions.

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨

The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office has received reports of scammers impersonating members of our office. Victims report receiving calls from 979-361-4900 and 979-361-4990, claiming they have an active warrant, missed jury duty, or failed to appear in court.

To make the scam appear legitimate, the callers are sending fake court documents and demanding payment to avoid arrest.

⚠️ Remember:
• The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office will NEVER call and demand payment to avoid arrest.
• We will NEVER ask you to pay with Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, gift cards, cash apps, or wire transfers.
• No legitimate law enforcement agency will direct you to a Bitcoin ATM or kiosk to make a payment.

If you receive one of these calls:
✅ Hang up immediately
✅ Do not send money
✅ Do not provide personal information
✅ Contact the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office directly to verify any claims

The fake documents can look convincing, but if someone claiming to be from law enforcement demands payment by Bitcoin, gift cards, or another electronic payment method to avoid arrest, it is a scam.

Today, Waller County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control and other WCSO staff were proud to assist with a community spay and neuter clinic serving residents in the Waller area.

A huge thank you to The Nicolosi Foundation for Animal Welfare (Always Adopt) for making this event possible, as well as Dr. Marsh and the incredible team with Dehart Veterinary Services for providing veterinary care throughout the day.

We also want to recognize Animal Rescue Kingdom for sponsoring free vaccines for pets receiving services, and Waller Dog Rescue for their continued dedication and coordination in helping organize events like this for our community.

Special thanks to First Class BBQ for providing lunch for all of the volunteers and staff working the event today.

Thank you to everyone involved for helping make a positive impact on animal welfare in Waller County!

Attempt to Locate Estray Livestock

The Waller County Sheriff's Office Livestock Division is attempting to locate the owner of six heifers found at the Waller County Fairgrounds. The animals are marked with yellow ear tags.
