Graveside services for Gordon Smith with military honors will be Saturday, April 7 at 2 p.m. at the Hemingford Cemetery with Pastor Jim West officiating. A reception will be held at the Hemingford American Legion following the service.

Gordon W. Smith, 81, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at his rural Hemingford home.

March 29th is the National Viet Nam War Veterans Day. Nebraska Governor Ricketts will be issuing a proclamation honoring all Viet Nam War Veterans.

If you are a Viet Nam War Veteran and would like to attend the ceremony then please contact Holden Armstrong 1-402-471-2477.

The ceremony will be held at the Nebraska State Capital building- Governors Hearing Room 2nd floor March 29th at 2:30 pm.
