The Hemet Library Foundation The Hemet Library Foundation was formed in 2000 by a group of dedicated local citizens.

Their mission - to raise funds for furnishings, fixtures, equipment and programs for the Hemet Public Library. To date the Foundation has raised over $1.2 million towards the furnishings, equipment, and library materials. The Foundation also assists the library by providing a variety of resources including direct mail campaigns, social events, volunteer orientation video and more. The members of t

he Foundation share a vision of the library as a an integral part of education, a center of community life and a catalyst for economic development.

The Hemet Library Foundation was proud to present a check for $17,700 to the Hemet Public Library. Accepting was Kathye Caines, manager of the Hemet Public Library. Also attending was Board Members Jena Estrin, Michele Ryneal, President Michael Huerta & Mary Wright.

Don't be misled into believing that the Foundation doesn't play a very critical role in the day to day activity of the library. We host some important programs & fund raising is key to our being able to assist where the ciity is unable to.

Please remember the Hemet Library Foundation when you are
preparing your last wishes. For that matter, remember us when we host our fundraisers (which are just a few per year). You have no idea how many people (city residents & county residents) benefit from your generosity.
