Last night, I was sworn in by City of Helotes Municipal Court Judge Mario Trevino to serve a second term on the Helotes City Council. I am deeply grateful for the trust and support of our community, and I remain committed to serving the residents of Helotes with integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Since first being elected in 2024, I have been dedicated to protecting what makes Helotes special — our families, neighborhoods, small businesses, and close-knit community — while ensuring City Hall listens, operates transparently, and delivers real results. I will continue working to provide leadership that listens, acts responsibly, and preserves the community spirit that makes Helotes unique.

I would also like to welcome our newly elected City Council members, Gregg Michel, Helotes City Council Member, and Anne Carraway. I look forward to working together in service to Helotes.

At the same time, I want to recognize and thank outgoing Helotes City Council Members Craig Sanders and Jen Sones for their service to Helotes. It was wonderful to see them honored with civic awards recognizing their dedication and contributions to our community.

Most importantly, thank you to the residents of Helotes for your continued confidence and support, and to my husband, Patrick, for his unwavering encouragement throughout this journey.

Serving my hometown is truly an honor, and I look forward to continuing the work ahead.

It was great running into Bexar County Commissioner Grant Moody at the 2026 State of the County, hosted by the Metro SA Chamber.

The event offered valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges facing Bexar County and our region, and it was encouraging to see so many local leaders committed to collaboration, economic growth, infrastructure, and public service. I always appreciate the chance to connect with dedicated public servants and community leaders who are working to make our region stronger.
