On September 11, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on 9/11 and the courage of the first responders, service members and ordinary Americans who came together in the days that followed.

Join us at Montford E. Illick Stadium for a pregame football ceremony commemorating the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

Congratulations to Saucon Valley High School senior Ryan Pakzad, who has been named a Semifinalist in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program! 🎉

Ryan is one of approximately 16,000 students nationwide to earn this distinction from more than 1.2 million juniors representing 20,000 high schools who entered the program.

Semifinalists will have the opportunity to advance to Finalist standing, with Finalists announced in February. Finalists are then considered for a National Merit Scholarship.

Congratulations, Ryan! We’re proud of you and wish you the best of luck as you continue through the process!

Congratulations to Saucon Valley Elementary School Assistant Principal Tom Halcisak!

Mr. Halcisak is a member of a District XI football officiating crew that has been selected for recognition through the NFHS and NFL’s officials recognition program.

Those selected are recognized for their demonstration of objectivity, fairness in the application of the rules, and commitment to excellence as high school football officials.

Saucon Valley Cross Country enjoyed a highly successful meet on their home course Wednesday!

The Girls finished (3-0) and the Boys (2-1). Boys runner Theo Wechtler won the boys race with a time of 16:37, while girls runner Bridget Steidle came in 2nd with a time of 20:30.

An incredible AP achievement! 🎓👏

We are proud to recognize 26 high-achieving Saucon Valley High School students and recent graduates who have been named AP Scholar with Distinction!

Earning this recognition is no small feat. Advanced Placement courses are rigorous, college-level classes, and preparing for AP exams requires dedication, focus and a tremendous amount of hard work.

We know how much effort goes into taking on these challenging courses — the studying, the preparation, the late hours and the drive to push oneself academically. The AP Scholar with Distinction designation honors that grit and exceptional performance.

To earn this award, students must receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on FIVE or more of these exams.
