Yesterday , marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, students from the Academy of Careers and Explorations (ACE) Leadership joined Victor Valley College for a moving tribute. The ceremony honored the nearly 3,000 lives lost and the 413 first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice. The event was attended by the San Bernardino County Sheriff, the Victorville Fire Chief, mayors from most desert cities—including Apple Valley, Hesperia, Victorville, and Adelanto—and numerous other politicians and community leaders.

Following the ceremony, students participated in the Tunnels to Towers tribute climb alongside the VVC Fire Academy, completing 110 floors to symbolize the firefighters' ascent inside the Twin Towers. This collaboration highlights the power of education in preserving the legacy of 9/11, as students carry forward its enduring lessons of service, sacrifice, and unity.

Good luck today to ACE volleyball and ACE/RMS Cross Country. Volleyball is headed to Trona for day 2 of the Trona Volleyball tournament. They are in the gold bracket and they start play at 9:00am. ACE/RMS Cross Country are headed down to Riverside to run the Grant Nunnally Invitational. Racing action starts at 8:00 at Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center. It was a busy day yesterday for ACE athletics. Unfortunately with the cancellation of a tournament in San Pedro, ACE volleyball had the day off.

ACE/RMS Cross Country started off the day down in Torrance with their annual beach training / team bonding run. Thank you parent volunteers for making activities like these happen.

ACE football and Cheer headed out to Trona to take on the Trona Sandmen. The game didn’t end in a win, but the boys remained on target and fought till the end losing 38-22. ACE cheer pumped the vibe and even collaborated with Trona Cheer at halftime for a halftime show. Great job!

Thank you for all of the family support coming out to back to school night tonight at Helendale Secondary School. For those of you that were asking about the volleyball scores, the girls had an amazing night. They are heading back from Wildomar winning both games. Congratulations!

Congrats to ACE Volleyball on the win tonight! The Eagles battled through a tight opening set, taking it 26–24, then followed with another hard-fought 25–21 win in the second. ACE closed the door taking the third set 25–8.

The Eagles improve to 2–0 on the season and head to Wildomar on Thursday to take on California Lutheran. 🦅🏐
