December 7, 1941-This “Day of Infamy” put the United States into World War II. It was a terrible wake up to the American people on the need to have a strong military. Few survivors of Pearl Harbor, as well as World War II Veterans, are still with us. Let’s remember this day and those who fought so bravely. We owe them so much.

Rest In Peace-We have learned of the passing of Charles Walls, a long time and faithful member of Post 41. Charles served in the 101st Airborne and could always be counted on to support any Legion activities. Our thoughts are with his family.

Thank You Helena Rotary Club-Earlier today, Post 41 was honored to host the Helena Rotary Club as its members conducted a Flag Retirement Ceremony that coincided
with Armed Forces Day. This is a time honored tradition that is a proper way to dispose of US Flags. Civic Clubs are important to a community and we are sure proud of the Helena, Arkansas Rotary Club!!
