Congratulations Sen. Usher, and thank you for serving state lawmakers across the country!

CHICAGO—Montana State Senator and Senate Majority Whip Barry Usher was selected to become the president of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) at the annual Legislative Summit in Chicago.

NCSL is a bipartisan organization that serves the nation’s 7,386 state lawmakers and more than 30,000 legislative staff.

“As NCSL continues to expand and grow as the premier bipartisan organization for state legislators and staff, I’m incredibly grateful to lead the National Conference of State Legislatures as its 55th president,” said Usher.
