it’s never easy to say goodbye to someone who has contributed so much to our team and community. Over the past year, Alyssa has played an integral role in our organization, working on grant applications and helping launch Camp Bright Horizons. Her dedication, hard work, and passion have made a lasting impact—not only on our team, but on the many people we serve.

While we are incredibly sad to see her leave, we are equally excited for her as she begins the next chapter of her journey pursuing her PhD. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and grateful for everything she has brought to our organization. We have no doubt that she will continue to do amazing things, and we can’t wait to see all that she achieves in the years ahead!

Thank you for everything Alyssa! We wish you nothing but success and happiness on this exciting new adventure!

This summer, Carroll College will host Camp Bright Horizons, a new two-day camp designed to support youth ages 12 to 15 who have an incarcerated parent, reflecting Carroll’s mission to serve the common good through meaningful engagement with children and families in our community.

This week we are looking into individuals in the detention center who have a bond, and how long they have been in custody at the Lewis & Clark County Detention Center.

The lowest bond was $500.
The highest bond was $1,250,000.

Many individuals being held in the detention center (80%) are being held pretrial, and the time until trial is often lengthy. Thanks to our pretrial services program, any individuals who are deemed safe to society and are assigned to us by a judge, do not have to wait in jail for their trial and can check in with us instead.
