Thank you to Servpro Team Phillips/Smith for coming out last week and grilling lunch for our firefighters! Even with the rain, they stuck it out and made sure our crews were taken care of. We appreciate your continued support!

This cold March day has us thinking back to our ice rescue training in January! ❄️🚒 Like many departments in the area, Hebron Fire has trained Ice Rescue Technicians who are equipped to respond when someone falls through the ice and needs immediate help.

Here's the reality...there’s no such thing as “safe” ice. Thickness can vary, conditions change quickly, and what looks solid may not support your weight. For your safety, we strongly encourage everyone to stay off frozen ponds, lakes, and waterways.

Dear Boone County Sheriff's Office, KY,

We all have good days and bad days, and we’re sorry that today was a bad day for you. We respect the strategy…throw tomatoes, launch lettuce, create a distraction. Bold move.

Meanwhile, we quietly built the hoagies with unmatched precision, displaying the epitome of hoagie building excellence, and carried home the bigger trophy.

Although the Wawa officials called it a “tie,” we had a blast seeing who could build the most hoagies in under two minutes. Thank you to everybody who came out for Wawa’s Grand Opening!

PS to the Sheriff’s Office - if you ever want to come see our trophy (did we mention it’s bigger?), we’ll keep it polished and ready for you.

Welcome to Hebron, Wawa!

Last week, Firefighter Dan Ely and Firefighter Autumn Speier attended North Pointe Elementary School’s Career Day! They had a great time talking with students about what it means to serve in the fire service, demonstrating equipment, and answering lots of great questions. We always enjoy the opportunity to connect with our community and inspire the next generation.
