05/25/2026

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and dedication to protecting our freedoms and democracy remind us of what we’re fighting to preserve — a nation of liberty, justice, and opportunity for all.
On this Memorial Day, the Hebron Democrats join all Americans in gratitude and remembrance. 🇺🇸

Reimagining Hebron’s Village Center

This week, Dave Sousa (Hebron Planning & Zoning) and Claudia Riley (Town Council) attended a workshop sponsored by CT Main Street where we learned of opportunities and ideas of how we can create a more dynamic, thriving village center.

We understand the critical importance of growing and diversifying the town’s grand list, assisting the town’s board and commissions to be more “business friendly” and improving the quality of life for all residents.

We are excited at the possibilities. More to come this year.

It is anticipated that Governor Lamont is about to sign the new State budget which will provide the following additional aid to the Town of Hebron for this next Fiscal Year:

Supplemental Education Aid $239,908
Supplemental Town Aid: $30,258
Total: $270,166.

We want to thank the Office of Governor Ned Lamont for this additional funding, which is significant and will positively impact our town budget.

We understand longer term solutions are being worked on by state leadership to help towns including the Town of Hebron with addressing rising costs. We welcome these developments!
