Throwback to the 1980's. At this point, HL&P has been in this office for about 15 years. Now, after over 50 years in this building, we are looking forward to the move to our new building! More information on this move and an open house will be available in the coming weeks.

We are currently experiencing a power outage in the Jordanelle Ridge area affecting approximately 70 customers. Our crews have been dispatched and are working to resolve this issue as quickly and as safely as possible.

October was a full & exciting month for Heber Light & Power! During the first full week of October, we celebrated Public Power Week—a time to recognize the value of community-owned power and the people who keep it running safely and reliably every day. As part of the celebration, we hosted tours for local fourth-grade students, teaching them all about electricity. We enjoyed showing the students how to make batteries, build circuits, and even power lightbulbs by pedaling our bike generator as fast as they could!

We wrapped up the month by joining in the fun at the Heber Halloween Fest, where we brought our demo trailer and shared more about electricity. It was great to see so many familiar faces stop by!
