Effective September 7, 2026 if you have lost your Oklahoma Drivers Licenses or Oklahoma State Identification card you can obtain a duplicate credential WITHOUT having your birth certificate.
Previously a birth certificate was required to process a duplicate.

Vehicles purchased on or after July 1, 2026 from a new or used dealership will require a Bill of Sale or Purchase Contract from the dealer to process the title work.

Our office is without electricity, phones, & internet at this time. We are here for notary service and food pantry.
I will update with any changes.

Wednesday February 11th Heavener Tag Agency will close at 4:00 & stop driver’s license renewals at 3:15 to begin running reports to close out our current computer system.
The State of Oklahoma & all Tag Agencies will remain closed until Tuesday February 17th when the new operating system goes live.
We ask again for everyone to please be patient with us during this transition. We will be working hard to help everyone as quickly as possible but it is a huge change for Tag Agencies. I am confident that over the next few weeks everything will return to normal and this new system will make transactions faster and simpler for our customers. We just ask that during this adjustment phase everyone is patient and kind. I promise we will be doing our best.

The west side of our building is still a sheet of ice. Please use caution!
You may renew your tag online at okcars.service.ok.gov just select Heavener Tag Agency for your renewal and we will get your registration mailed out to you same day. Again please use caution if you choose to come into the office we will not be responsible for accidents or injury. If at all possible try online transactions or wait for the ice to melt off. Some things can be taken care of over the phone ☎️ 918-653-2236.
