HEADLAND READS is here!! Join us for our summer reading challenge all through June and July for kids, teens, AND adults!

How to enter:
📖 Adults & Teens
Enter each time you check out books during June and July.

📚 Kids
Earn entries by completing and turning in summer reading logs.

Unlimited entries for everyone! The more you read, the more chances you have to win! Winners will be drawn on July 30.

PRIZES 🎁
•Children’s Division
3 winners - Each winner will receive a goody bag plus a cash prize: $50, $40, or $30

•Teen Division
1 winner will receive a cash prize + a summer survival kit ☀️

•Adult Division
1 winner will receive a Kindle!

Our first Summer Reading Program performer is THIS Wednesday, June 3 at 10 AM and we are kicking things off with magician Arthur Atsma! 🎩✨

We are expecting a HUGE crowd, so please read these important reminders before arriving:

📚 Pre-register your child now to help lower your wait time at the door. Link to pre-register: https://forms.gle/WKHDKQWp4494C4rr9

🚗 Please plan to arrive EARLY. Parking in the front lot will be extremely limited and you may need to park behind the library. We will begin on time, you will want to be in the building prior to 10am.

🪑 The performance room will be standing room only! 
• Chairs will be available in the hallway, but seating is extremely limited.
• Additional chairs will also be available in the main library.

👧🧒 If your children are older and more independent, please prepare them to go back alone or with siblings. There will be very limited room for adults in the performance area. However, adults MUST remain inside the building at all times.

🚫 Due to limited space, no strollers or wagons may be taken into the performance room.

We are SO excited to kick off summer with all of you and cannot wait to see the library packed with smiling faces!

Just 1 week left until our Summer Reading kickoff!! 🦖📚 Join us Wednesday, June 3 at 10 AM as we kick off “Unearth a Story” with magician Arthur Atsma! We cannot wait to dig into a summer full of stories, fun, and adventure with all of you! ✨

Reminder: We will be closed for Memorial Day Monday, May 25, but your digital library [Libby] is always open!

We will resume our normal hours on Tuesday May 26!

We will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day! 🇺🇸
