Congratulations to West Keansburg Fire Company Junior Firefighters Liam McCarron and Anthony Avallone on successfully completing the Monmouth County Fire Academy’s Jr. Fire Academy. These dedicated kids will become great firefighters when they turn 18. Keep up the great work!

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Life Member John Calamari.

John dedicated many years of service to our fire company and community. His commitment, brotherhood, and pride in the job will never be forgotten.

Congratulations to Ex-Chief Edward Schmidt on his well-deserved promotion to Lieutenant with the Hazlet Township Police Department. Ed has always demonstrated a strong commitment to serving the community, both through his years of leadership in the fire service and now through his continued dedication to public safety in law enforcement. We have no doubt that he will continue to represent Hazlet Township with the same professionalism, integrity, and work ethic that he has always shown.

We would also like to congratulate North Centerville Fire Company Ex-Chief Patrick Wood on his promotion to Lieutenant with the Hazlet Township Police Department as well. Two outstanding leaders continuing to serve the residents of Hazlet Township in new roles. Congratulations and best of luck to both of you in this next chapter of your careers.

Yesterday was a big day for our company — our new fire engine has officially been delivered 🚒🔥

This apparatus represents countless hours of planning, meetings, and attention to detail. A huge thank you to the dedicated committee members who spent endless hours carefully spec’ing this engine to make sure it meets the needs of our firefighters and, most importantly, the residents we proudly serve.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Hazlet Fire District for financing this important investment in public safety. Your continued support ensures our department has the tools necessary to respond effectively and safely.

This engine will be put to great use protecting the residents of Hazlet Township for many years to come.

We cannot thank our salesman Jim Phillips enough. His knowledge, expertise and experience made this process seamless!
