🕵️‍♂️ Murder at the Prom!
What a killer afternoon at the Hazlet Senior Center! We had a packed house for an unforgettable afternoon of suspense, secrets, and surprises during our interactive murder mystery prom.
The incredibly talented RHS Drama Team absolutely blew everyone away. Dressed to the nines—from glamorous gowns to mysterious trench coats—the student actors stayed perfectly in character all afternoon, delivering sharp wit, high drama, and plenty of clues.
Our senior sleuths did a fantastic job interrogating the suspects at their tables and piecing the puzzle together. A massive thank you to the RHS Drama students for bringing so much energy and talent to our community, and to everyone who came out to help solve the crime!

Paws-itively wonderful day at the Hazlet Senior Center! 🐾 We had some very special therapy dogs stop by to visit our members today. 🌸 Spring is in the Air! 🌸
The Craft Collective had a wonderful afternoon yesterday bringing some seasonal cheer. We spent the session designing and decorating custom wooden door hangers to welcome the arrival of spring!

It was inspiring to see everyone’s unique style shine through. From vibrant "Welcome" signs adorned with hand-painted daisies to whimsical "Life in Bloom" designs complete with 3D butterflies and glittery eggs, every piece was a true work of art.

There’s no better way to shake off the last of the winter chill than with a splash of color. This week, our Artful Adventures class officially traded their winter coats for watercolor palettes to welcome the new season!

We captured the elegance of the first sign of spring: the tulip. From soft pastels to vibrant pinks, it was inspiring to see how everyone brought their own unique "bloom" to life on the page.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! We had a fantastic time celebrating with everyone at the Senior Center this past Monday. The room was a sea of green, and the energy was even better.

From the festive decorations to the themed treats, it was a wonderful day spent catching up and making memories with our amazing Senior Center.

This event is presented by the Monmouth County Division on Aging, Disabilities & Veterans Services and hosted by the Monmouth County Library System.
