It has come to our attention that there was a message placed on FB regarding a possible dog snatching last night and Hazen PD would like to clarify that they did not receive any information about this and confirming with Mercer County Dispatch nor did they. We would like the public to know that we take the safety of our fur babies very serious and if there is a concern for safety then please contact us right away. On top of that if there is someone trespassing on your property you should be calling 911. Help us help you.

The roads are becoming slushie and slick. The tempeture will continue to drop a little more into early morning causing the roads to become more slick. Please drive safe and allow yourself extra time this morning for traveling.
