Harvest Fest Canning Contest
Friday, September 25, 2026 - 12:00 p.m.
Contest Rules and Regulations
1. Items will be judged on color, taste, appearance, originality and texture.
2. Contestant can enter one item in each category: Submit one glass jar, which will be for sampling.
3. Contestants must register at Hazen Public Library or email registration form to [email protected]
4. The day of the contest, bring entries to Hazen Public Library by 11:00 a.m.
5. The pickles/canned items must be prepared by the contestant submitting the item for judging.
6. Best Pickle or canned item in each category will receive a prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. One over all best prize.
