🌻Hazen HIPPY is Now Enrolling! 🌻

We are excited to begin enrolling families for our FREE home-based preschool program for children ages 2-5!
HIPPY helps parents and caregivers prepare their children for Kindergarten through:
📚 books & supplies
✏️ fun learning activities
💛 weekly support & encouragement
🎉 monthly group meetings

Families complete activities together at home while building confidence, learning, and school readiness skills along the way!
We are currently enrolling families in Hazen, DeValls Bluff, and the surrounding areas.

The City of Hazen will be hosting its 23rd annual Mammoth Pond Fishing Derby Saturday June 6,2026 from 10:00am-1:00pm at Mammoth Pond Park. The derby is for children 15 years of age and under and a fishing license is not required. The City of Hazen received a $1,000 spark good grant from Beebe Walmart to provide some of our prizes. Prizes will be awarded throughout the day with special prizes to those catching tagged fish. Refreshments will also be provided by local businesses. Please bring your children out for a great time and don’t forget to bring your own fishing pole and bait!

Applications are now open for The Bridge Project - a cash stipend program to support more than 300 mothers and their babies in Arkansas. Eligible pregnant individuals receive monthly cash stipends that can be used flexibly to cover basic needs and expenses. You get 3 years of support - a one-time upfront prenatal stipend of $1,125; then $750/month for the first 15 months of the program, and then $375/month for the remaining 21 months of the program.

Who is Eligible?
* Must reside in Arkansas
* Be 18-22 years old OR individuals who are currently serving or have previously served in the U.S. Armed Forces
* Are 27 weeks pregnant or less*
* Have an annual household income under $44,000
* No SSN or ITIN required

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

At Hazen HIPPY, we are thankful for the freedoms that allow our children to learn, laugh, grow, and dream big every day. ❤️🤍💙

Ahh... our long awaited HIPPY graduation photos. We apologize for the delay.
