Perry County Emergency Management along with other emergency response agencies, will be conducting an active mock drill on Thursday morning around 8:30 am and lasting 3/4 hours within the City of Hazard and at the Hazard ARH Hospital.
During this training exercise, residents may notice emergency vehicles, fire trucks, and emergency personnel responding in the area. This is only a drill and training exercise. There is no emergency and no cause for alarm.
The purpose of this drill is to help emergency responders practice and improve their preparedness and coordination during critical incidents.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we conduct this important training event.
