FLASHBACK 2018

Super proud of the Perry County 4-H delegation participating in the 2018 KY 4-H Teen Conference! Pictured here is current State Teen Council member Tiffany Langdon just recognized for earning State Clover Level 5! She is a recent graduate of Buckhorn. Laura Hanna, it is her first year at Conference and she will be starting her two year term on State Teen Council on Thursday. Laura is a sophomore at Hazard. Next is Robert Bowlng, just recognized tonight as a KY 4-H Bronze Honoree. This is Robert's 2nd Teen Conference and he too, is a sophomore at HHS. In the center is Skyler Turner Hubbard. Skyler is just finishing up her second year on STC and she was recognized tonight in the Top 10 KY Gold Honors and one of the finalist for the highest recognition of Emerald! .... The first Perry County 4-H'er to achieve this distinction! Skyler recently graduated from HHS. In the red dress is Ava Dixon. This is Ava's second year at Conference but not her last as she will be joining the ranks of the State Teen Council at the conference's conclusion! Ava and Laura will be the District representatives for the KY 4-H Program. Ava was honored tonight as a Bronze Achiever. She is a student at HHS. Next is Alexa Deaton. This is Alexa's first Teen Conference but she has been actively engaged in the county and district teen council for several years as well as a member of both NRESci Academy and the Environmental Resources Academy. Alexa attends Perry Central. And on the far right is Samuel Spencer. This is also Sam's first year at Teen Conference. He has been an active member of both the county and district 2 Teen Council and now serves as a camp teen counselor and youth volunteer. Sammy also attends Perry Central. Congrats to these youth leaders! I am so proud of you all!
