East Perry Elementary Miners Welcome to East Perry Elementary- Home of the MINERS! The involvement of all stakeholders is extremely important for the achievement of our students.

We have a wonderful school with a dedicated and committed faculty whose main goal is to provide the best education possible to the students at East Perry Elementary and the surrounding community. East Perry was established in 2013 creating the beginning of an exceptional educational environment where students are the top priority and success is viewed as a necessity for the preparation of student

endeavors for the 21st century. There are several ways for everyone to contribute to the success of our educational environment. Encouragement and support for students by parents and staff, as well as, effort and commitment from students, contribute to the attainment of student growth. Student progress can be monitored on statewide and district assessments, report cards (grades), and daily assignments/homework. Feel free to ask questions to your child’s teacher(s) and administrators at East Perry. As our school mission statement says, “East Perry Miners Strive for Excellence” and this could not be accomplished without your support. Thank you for all you do to make our school truly exceptional.

HIGH ATTENDANCE DAY is on Wednesday, September 9! We need every student at school, ready to learn and help East Perry reach our goal! We’re competing against the other elementary schools in our district, and we want East Perry to come out on top! ❤️🖤⛏️

🎥 Some of our students have an important message to share about why good attendance matters and information about High Attendance Day!

🍧 Every student in attendance will receive a popsicle!
🍕 The K–3 and 4–8 classes with the highest attendance will win a pizza party!
🎬 If our school reaches 98% attendance or higher, we’ll celebrate with a PJ and Movie Day on Friday!

🚒🔥 In honor of National Firefighter Month, our 1st graders had a special visit from Hazard Fire Department today! Students toured the fire truck, explored the equipment, and learned about fire safety and the important work firefighters do to keep our community safe.

To show their appreciation, the students colored special thank-you notes for the firefighters! Thank you for visiting East Perry and creating such a fun, meaningful learning experience for our students! 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒🚒
