Family Emergency Shelter Coalition - FESCO Join our mission to support homeless families towards building self-sufficiency and finding a place to call home.

Founded in 1986, Family Emergency Shelter Coalition, FESCO, is a nonprofit organization compromised of over 22 churches and community members in the Hayward, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, San Leandro and Union City area. FESCO serves homeless families and their children with an array of housing, supportive services, and links to community resources.

🛍️ One Week Until FESCO’s Annual Benefit Sale! 🛍️

Mark your calendars! The Annual Benefit Sale is just one week away, taking place September 18–19 at Castro Valley United Methodist Church.

This beloved community tradition brings people together to shop for wonderful treasures while supporting FESCO and local families experiencing homelessness. Proceeds help provide the resources families need as they work toward greater stability and a place to call home.

We’re especially grateful to Janet Alfaro and the Castro Valley United Methodist Church community for their continued dedication to this event year after year. ❤️

We're excited to announce we are back at Memorial Park for Concert in the Park on August 9th. Our celebrity chef will be on grill duty that day offering gourmet hot dogs.

We are also so happy to have the The Giant Garage Spiders provide live music! This event is completely free to attend, but we will be selling small bites and raffle tickets all benefiting FESCO.
